FRÉ-YO IS ROOTED IN

Mentorship. Brotherhood. Community.

We catalyze the careers of children of color, veterans, and historically marginalized citizens through mentorship and sponsorship.

Fré-Yo believes in the power of mentorship to light the path for those who have been historically excluded, and to lift the most submerged segments of our communities onto higher ground. By leveraging our pools of talent and resources, we create opportunities for those who have been overlooked and underrepresented.

How We Make a Difference

strike through line brush stroke

How do we get young people from disenfranchised communities the help and support they need to reach their goals?

How do we work with incarcerated youth to help them successfully transition back to communities, career, and education?

We work with individuals one-on-one to find the best possible resources - whether that’s resources for further education, careers, or transition to a new phase in life. All donations we receive go directly to things like:

  • COLLEGE ASSISTANCE AND FINANCIAL AID - We help individuals navigate getting in to college through financial aid, tuition assistance, scholarships, and more.
  • BOOK PROGRAM - Purchasing books to support incarcerated/transitioning youth, new mentees, young people of color. In 2023, we purchased and distributed over 200.
  • TRANSITION ASSISTANCE - providing resources and mentorship to incarcerated individuals to transition back to communities and careers.

From our growing community of leaders, we’ve curated resources for students and those navigating their careers.
